When the caged bird sings, the reaper arrives...
"What got you singing so sad?" The reaper asked.
"I wish to fly. I wish to be free. Yet I don't know how to get out of the cage..." The poor bird sang.
The reaper glanced with his half skeletal face at the dark bird in the cage... And started humming. It was a gentle tune. A low hum... A Hum of generations of seeing life, death, and rebirth... The soul of a serpent on his shoulders rose his head and looked at the bird.
"Why don't you figure out how the cage works? How to unlatch the cage and fly?" The serpent spoke softly.
The bird looked at the Serpent... And chirped.
"The cage has never been opened."
Reaper sat down next to the bird's cage.
"I can help you free..." He said. "Without cost. But you must want it as well. Life out there is not easy. But I shall be there for you."
